The technician will install and connect the ONT device (or optical network terminal) and connect from the ONT into the Wi-Fi router. Please note: There are times when the ONT and Wi-Fi router are contained within one unit. If the technician determines there is diminished signal in other parts of your home, they may determine it best to also install a mesh extender to help extend your Wi-Fi signal.
Please note: We recommend that your Wi-Fi router be placed in a centralized location inside your home to ensure maximum coverage and performance.
